Do I need to sign a contract?

Do I need existing shop software to use Kanif Auto?

No. Kanif Auto works as a standalone system. It doesn't need to connect to your POS, DMS, or any other software. Shops running on paper or spreadsheets can import customers via CSV and be up and running in under 30 minutes.
How long does setup take?

Most shops are fully configured in under 30 minutes. Enter your shop info, pick your services, set your hours, and import your customer list. During the early access period, the founder personally helps with every setup — at no extra cost.
How does Kanif Auto handle SMS consent? Is it really TCPA compliant?

Yes. TCPA compliance is built into the foundation, not bolted on. Every customer gets a consent link before any automated SMS is sent. Consent is recorded with a timestamp, IP address, and method. STOP keywords are handled automatically by Twilio and immediately opt the customer out. Consent records are never deleted — only archived. We also enforce sending hours: 8am–8pm local shop time only.
What happens when a customer texts back?

All replies land in the two-way SMS inbox inside your Kanif Auto dashboard — organized by customer, linked to their vehicle and service history. You respond from the app. Your personal cell number is never shared with customers.
When can I start sending SMS messages?
